eBay Ninja is a specialized competitive repricing platform built exclusively for authorized eBay sellers. We interface with official eBay APIs using standard OAuth 2.0 authorization.
We treat your inventory and pricing data with strict confidentiality. We do not sell, rent, or distribute seller inventory data, competitor findings, or sales performance to any third party.
2. Information We Collect
When you use eBay Ninja, we collect only the data necessary to provide automated competitive repricing and account management:
- eBay Account & Authorization Details: Your eBay username, seller user ID, registered marketplace ID, and OAuth 2.0 access & refresh tokens. We never ask for, collect, or store your eBay password.
- Inventory & Listing Information: Active listing IDs, titles, SKUs, MPNs, GTINs (UPC/EAN/ISBN), current prices, shipping costs, quantities, and marketplace details retrieved via official eBay APIs.
- User-Configured Pricing Rules: Minimum floor prices, undercut values, matching strategies, ignored seller usernames, and automation schedules configured by you.
- Repricing History & Audit Logs: Historical records of pricing decisions, candidate comparisons, calculated target prices, and eBay API listing revisions.
- Billing Information: Payments and subscriptions are processed directly through Stripe. We store Stripe customer and subscription IDs; we never store or process raw credit card numbers or banking secrets.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information exclusively to:
- Authenticate your account and maintain secure sessions.
- Retrieve authorized listings and synchronize current prices.
- Query eBay Browse API to identify qualifying competitor offers for your inventory.
- Calculate optimal, margin-safe prices and apply updates in accordance with your rules.
- Provide transparency and auditing through your Dashboard history.
- Process recurring subscription billing and maintain service status.
4. Data Security & Encryption
We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards:
- Encryption at Rest: All eBay OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest using strong server-side encryption (AES-256) before storage in our database.
- Encryption in Transit: All communications between your browser, our servers, and eBay APIs are strictly encrypted using TLS 1.3 / HTTPS.
- Zero Client Exposure: OAuth secrets, refresh tokens, and internal credentials remain strictly server-side and are never transmitted to client browsers.
- Server Isolation: Database access is parameterized through strongly typed ORM layers to protect against injection and unauthorized access.
5. eBay Marketplace Account Deletion & Data Retention
In full compliance with eBay's Developer Partner policies and international privacy regulations (including GDPR and CCPA):
- Automated Account Deletion Webhook: We maintain a verified endpoint (
/api/ebay/webhook/account-deletion) registered with eBay. When a user requests deletion of their eBay account or revokes data permissions via eBay's Privacy Center, we automatically receive and execute the deletion of all associated tokens, credentials, and user data. - Account Disconnection: You can disconnect your eBay store at any time from your Settings page or by revoking third-party application permissions in your eBay account. Upon disconnection, automated repricing halts immediately and stored OAuth tokens are deleted.
6. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. Data is shared only with verified infrastructure providers required to operate the service:
- eBay Inc.: To query public Browse APIs, synchronize inventory, and submit listing price updates requested by you.
- Stripe, Inc.: For secure subscription payment processing and invoice generation.
- Cloud Infrastructure Providers: Secure hosting and database infrastructure adhering to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 standards.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, rectify, export, or delete your personal data. You may exercise these rights at any time by contacting our support team or disconnecting your account.
